The names and the details of the candidates mentioned in the below examples are not real.

The below examples are for the aspiring candidates to read, understand, and get inspired to create an effective self - introduction that will help them crack their HR round of interview process.

An Important Note to the Candidates:

Do not copy-paste the below self-introduction and show it as your own. The personals taking your job interview are smart and experienced enough to see through your lies.

Take a cue from the below examples and create your own self-introduction that you can be proud of. A self-introduction that shows the interviewer who you really are.

EXAMPLE SELF - INTRODUCTION: 1

My name is Sunil Saigal and I come from the Holy City of Banaras in Uttar Pradesh. On my 18th birthday, my father gifted me my first Smartphone. Through the Smartphone I was introduced to the world of Apps. More than surfing the Social Media Apps, I was fascinated by how they functioned. The more I researched the more I was drawn into the exciting world of Apps. This led me to do my Degree Course in Computer Science. Right now I am pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the College of Computer Science.

Utilizing my free time during lockdown I advanced my skills in programming by completing my online course in Java and XML. This has helped me in understanding the nitty-gritty of App Development.

To test my knowledge I have designed two apps. Both the apps are functional. The first one allows users to find a children's park in their area while the second one helps students of the class tenth to prepare for their board exams.

The reason I have applied for this job is I would like to leverage my problem-solving skills, and logical thinking mind to design apps that can solve real-life problems of society.

I see myself as a passionate and people-oriented person. I put my strengths to work in various group projects that I was a part of in my College. I feel happy to share with you that I have been able to perform well working with my classmates.

I use my leisure time to read technical journals on App development and follow App related news on various tech apps. I have also developed a network of connections online with like-minded people. This keeps me ahead in my field and I take pride in what I am doing.

Thank you.

EXAMPLE SELF - INTRODUCTION: 2

I am Kamlesh Kumar. I belong to the Metropolitan City of Chennai. I have completed my schooling at Kendriya Vidhyalaya in Commerce.

My Dad is an entrepreneur. I still remember, when I was eight years old he introduced me to balance sheets. At first, I didn't understand the numbers but he patiently explained everything. Once I understood the numbers I was hooked to it. I started analyzing the balance sheets of big corporations that are published in business papers. On weekends my dad and I discussed these balance sheets. This developed my mind to critically analyze a balance sheet and think like a Finance expert.

With my strong interest in numbers and encouragement from my dad, I decided to take up Finance in my degree course and then do my MBA in Finance Management.

After completing my MBA I was looking to join a company from Financial and Banking Service Industry that can offer me an opportunity to use my financial skills to solve client's finance-related problems. The right opening in your organization inspired me to apply for the position.

Even though this is my first job interview, I am not a fresher. Since my school days, I have been making use of my leisure time to gain practical experience in accounting and finance by helping my dad in preparing the balance sheet of his company. This has given me real insights into the details of a balance sheet and a skill to understand the financial health of any company by looking at its balance sheet.

In addition, patience and self confidence are my key strengths that I believe is required to be successful in this industry.

With my inner strengths and my ability to understand numbers on a balance sheet along with working experience in the field of finance, I am confident that I will be an asset to the company from day one.

That was a concise introduction of me. Thank you.
